Sarah and Josh were married Dec. 7 at Calvary Baptist Church with a reception following at the Waters Building, in downtown Florence, SC. The day got a beautiful start at the Hotel Florence, where both guys and girls had rooms to get ready in. I love working at this hotel, as there are just such pretty details and spaces everywhere you look. This time of year was especially nice, because there was a HUGE Christmas tree in the lobby….so I kinda used some items off of it to throw in with their details for a Christmas-y feel.
Sarah and Josh chose to do a “first look” before their ceremony to ensure they got s LOTS and LOTS of images of the two of them! And funny story, that I didn’t know about until 5 minutes before the first look- Josh was on crutches for a broken foot- hahahaha! I mean I was wondering why there was only ONE sock in his dress items, but I just figured he had the other one or something-?? The cast didn’t prove too much of an issue though- we just positioned Josh on the right side of Sarah and let her gorgeous dress hide it!! ; )
They rented this adorable trolley for the day and luckily it arrived to the hotel early so we got to use it for some pictures!

The park across the street from the Waters Building was basically the North Pole…so we had a little fun with their night time pictures! it was great- gotta love polar bears….wearing scarves!
There was a talented artist on hand to do a live painting of the reception
