Ryan and Rachel met freshmen year at Clemson and she obviously made an impression on him because he searched all of the name on the orientation sign in sheet and then matched them to her facebook photo. Four years later, these two are saying “I Do”……
The day started off with the girls at So Lace Salon, chatting, snacking, drinking mimosas and getting hair and makeup done.
Then we hopped across the street to the Inn at the Crossroads to photograph all of the beautiful details.
Ryan gifted Rachel a bracelet and perfume
Rachel and Ryan were not initially going to do a first look, but the weather forecast showed a storm hitting us right about the time as the ceremony, which meant that we would be able to do any outdoor photographs of them after the wedding…so they decided to play it safe and get there pictures before the ceremony (and thank goodness because the sky was so black when we stepped out of the church that the street lights were on!!! )
The bridal party met us across the street at the ONLY shaded area we could find!
The reception was held at the R.O.B just down the street from the church. I have never seen this place look so beautiful, thanks to the stylings of Louis Hodge! get ready to be wowed!
So the picture above was just to get Rachel and Ryan in place for a special surprise that Rachels Mother set up……The Clemson Tiger!
We shot a few night time portraits in the rain (thankfully I brought my clear umbrella!)
Then it was back inside to party with the Tru Sol Band!
Rachel and Ryan had the coolest get away car, with old school tin cans on the back that held images of the happy couple.
Congratulations Rachel and Ryan! You two go together like peanut butter and jelly and I loved photographing the love you have for each other! I wish you and long and happy life together!
